Photos From The Weekend

Been a busy week in the case of natural disasters. Earthquake earlier this week followed by a hurricane over the weekend! Luckily it wasn’t too bad and it gave all the news station something to talk about 24 hours a day.

The weather was actually really nice on Friday, so I met up with Eric in West Philly at Dock Street Brewery for some eats and drinks.

We rarely make it to West Philly so it’s always an adventure.

The rest of the weekend was spent dealing with the impending hurricane that was pretty weaksauce in the end. We spent most of Saturday watching some tv shows and drinking good beer.

Kitta Marie spent the better half of her day on high alert for the hurricane.

And Grissom didn’t really care.

The weather never seemed to get too bad, just some rain and wind.

We woke up Sunday morning and decided to head out on bikes to scope out the damage. We headed to the Delaware River and there wasn’t much of anything. Then we rode to the Schuylkill River and it was pretty crazy.

I guess I won’t be running down here anytime soon. :(

I love when any storm hits because it gives you an excuse to dress ridiculous.

This guy was riding his bike through the crazy water.

We hung out the rest of Sunday and I ended the night with baking a chocolate cake. Delicious!

Hopefully this week will be a little better weather wise!

Unfortunately my weekly grocery shopping trip just happened to fall on that Friday before the hurricane, and Trader Joe’s on market st was literally out of all bread and water. I settled for some weird seasoned flatbread loll it wasn’t really good.
