One Night in San Antonio

My parents had a pretty long drive back after the funeral, so the whole family decided to stop in San Antonio for the night. I went to college for 3 semesters there, so it was nice to be back and see some of the sights.

We stayed at The St. Anthony, which is probably one of my favorite hotels. I remember staying here growing up, and I stayed here when I came back to San Antonio to pack up my dorm room after dropping out of college (which is a completely different story).

The hotel is a couple of blocks from the Riverwalk. We walked around for a bit, but it’s not really our scene and was pretty crowded with obnoxious people.

In the early evening we walked to Bohanan’s and sat in the bar area and had some drinks and appetizers. It’s a steakhouse, but they have a pretty awesome hummus appetizer.

We went out to dinner after a few drinks and my mom, that pretty lady up here, proceeded to dominate all of us with her margarita drinking skills.

  1. The lobby of the hotel is beautiful. Your mom sounds pretty awesome with her margarita drinking skills!
