I’m pretty indifferent when it comes to Valentine’s Day, but for some reason this year I was feeling a bit cheesy.
I was hanging on the internet when I was these adorable bike related cards. Some bike shop somewhere in the Midwest made them and put them on Reddit. So I decided to print them out, tape the front and back to laminate them, and put them on all the bikes in the bike parking at my work.
I have no idea if this was a cute or creepy idea, but I hope I brightened someone’s day.
Eric and I had decided to drink some nice bottles of beer at home, so once he got in from work we headed to The Foodery and picked up some bottles.
Cats, Sea Legs brew, and flowers from my dad.
Eric cooked dinner, mac ‘n cheese, potatoes, and kale.
And then we rode our bikes to Little Baby’s Ice Cream. They have a cart on the corner of our block during the nicer months, but we hadn’t made it to the actual store. We were surprised they were running a 2 for 1 special, so we each got a cone for only $4 total.
The store was wacky…to say the least.
Post ice cream we went back home and cracked open another brew, BFM’s Douze. I don’t think I have ever had a beer that is described as salty, but it was really good!
