Venice, Italy

Last up is Venice. I LOOOVED Venice. Even though it was crowded and full of tourists I thought it was a magical place and unlike anywhere I have ever been.

Venice is expensive, and I was having trouble finding an affordable place to stay, but eventually we decided to splurge a bit and stayed at Ca’ San Giorgio which I can’t recommend enough. It was an amazing place to stay, the staff was so nice and friendly. The rooms were great. They provided an excellent breakfast every morning.

And everything in Venice was beautiful. St. Mark’s Basilicia was the most amazing place I have ever stepped inside. The amount of detail in the mosiacs is amazing to look at.

We took it pretty easy in Venice and spent most mornings walking and doing tourist things, and most afternoons taking it easy and drinking Aperol Spritzs.
